Patient Services Department

The Patient Services Department is comprised of the Patient Registration Clerks, Pediatric Benefits Coordinator and the Acting Registration Supervisor/Patient Benefits Coordinator.

The Patient Registration Clerks are initial point of entry every time a patient presents for services and is the first impression of our facility during the patient’s initial interview. The patient registration clerks are responsible for obtaining and updating eligibility and demographic information for new and active patients while checking patients in for their appointments. The Pediatric Benefits Coordinator currently works under the Children’s Health Insurance Program Reauthorization Act (CHIPRA) grant. The focus of the Pediatric Benefits Coordinator is the enrollment or maintaining of enrollment of Native American children aged 0–18 in Medicaid programs. The Acting Registration Supervisor/Patient Benefits Coordinator supervises the Patient Services Department. This position primary role is to act as an advocate/liaison for patients to identify alternate resources for which the patient may be eligible therefore enhancing the level of services to the beneficiaries.
